GRINNELL – Clear Creek Amana finished runner-up at the Grinnell
Tournament on Saturday falling to Class 4A No. 15 Norwalk 21-17, 7-21,
12-15 in the championship game.
The Clippers went 4-1 on Saturday to improve to 5-2 on the season.

Creek Amana won three straight games in pool play, defeating host
Grinnell (21-11, 21-11), Washington (21-6, 21-18) and Centerville (21-6,
21-12).
Shauntina Williams had nine kills and Zoey
Boehme had 15 assists in the win over Grinnell and Williams had three
kills and Boehme had seven assists in the win over Washington.
Against Centerville, Jordan Neely had five ace serves while Williams had five kills and Lauren Helle added four.
Clear Creek Amana edged 3A No. 14 West Liberty 21-18, 13-21, 15-12 in the semifinals.
Williams had eight kills and Helle had six in the semifinal win.
Boehme had 11assists against West Liberty and Riley Hennes added nine while Sheyanne Koethe collected 23 digs.
Willams led the Clippers with seven kills in in the title game loss to Norwalk.
Helle had five kills, Boehme had 10 assists and Hennes had seven assists.
