Clear Creek Amana holds off Benton in Five Sets

TIFFIN – Another WAMAC West opponent, another thrilling five-set win for Clear Creek Amana.
Clear Creek Amana won its second consecutive five-set conference match on Tuesday holding off Benton Community 25-16, 25-13, 19-25, 21-25, 15-13 in Tiffin.
The Clippers won a five-set thriller over WAMAC West foe South Tama last week and improved to 6-2 on the season with their win over Benton Community (5-7) on Tuesday.
McKenzie Justice had 11 kills to lead Clear Creek Amana while Lauren Helle and Shauntina Williams each added 10 kills for the Clippers.
Zoey Boehme had 22 assists while Riley Hennes had 11 assists in the win.
Sheyanne Koethe had eight ace serves and collected 30 digs while Jordan Neely had 17 digs.
Helle also added two ace blocks for Clear Creek Amana.

Clippers rally past South Tama

TAMA – Clear Creek Amana rallied for a 23-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-16, 15-10 win over South Tama in a WAMAC West Division title in Tama.
The Clippers improved to 6-2 with the come from behind five-set win.
Lauren Helle had 16 kills to lead Clear Creek Amana while Riley Hennes added seven kills and 15 assists.
Zoey Boehme had 30 assists, McKenna McCreedy had four ace serves and Sheyanne Koethe collected 48 digs in the win.
Karsyn Stratton had four ace blocks for the Clipppers.
